It was not a slick training video, just a guy in front of a white board talking about Panda and how he came to be what I consider to be the most knowledgeable expert on the subject. You see, Eric lost EVERYTHING to Panda! In early 2011 he was a top earning affiliate marketer and considered himself an expert in SEO. When Panda hit and he instantly turned into an ex-affiliate marketer, he humbly admitted to himself, "how can I call myself an expert in SEO if I didn't understand one of the biggest SEO changes in history?" And it was THAT, that fueled his drive to figure Panda out, and figure it out he did! I've have never met Eric but I just HAD TO HAVE HIM!! lol So, luckily for all of use, I was successful at talking him into coming out to ranch to share his MOST up-to-date findings on Panda and Penguin!

John Limbocker: The "God-Father" of SEO Himself!
		John is one of those soft-spoken guys that doesn't speak up often in a crowd, but when he does, all ears turn! He has been doing SEO longer then anyone I know (and I have been in the game for 11 years now) and he is affectionatly called "The God-Father of SEO" by all of the rest of us SEO'ers. He is a Master Strategist specializing in getting his clients to the top of the organic listings on the major Search Engines using their most lucrative keywords. John historically has predicted many of the changes to the search process enabling him to continually be ahead of the game when the changes come. John is a sought after speaker at major events like the Glazer Kennedy Info Summit, Web 2.0 Conference, Traffic and Conversion Conference and Stompernet. He is also a regular guest who freely shares his knowledge in interviews and recently has been named the Internet Expert for CBS News. Roger Bryan: The YouTube Ranking Rockstar!
		Now Roger is an interesting fellow. lol I have to admit, my first dealings with him weren't smooth sailing and I ended up just wanting to punch him every time I saw him! lol (not hard, but you know lol) He was using my networks to rank incredibly hard terms, but was automating into them on his own, and THAT is a no no. But, I had to put that aside as his brilliance was something I just couldn't ignore! And getting to know him better in the last year, I have actually become very fond of him. He talks over my head a lot of the time, but we need those types of people!! lol Roger has done some amazing stuff and the most recent of which has my entire mastermind giving him shout outs! His methods for ranking YouTube videos are the fastest and strongest I have ever seen. In fact, it is HIS method I used to rank those "Panda Recovery" videos and I was lazy and only did 2 of the things on his check list! (Which reminds me if I want them to stay I need to finish with the rest! lol) Roger makes his money doing Business Consulting and SEO for major charities. He has a who's who list of clients and pics with some pretty famous peeps! He recently spoke at Yanik's Underground marketing seminar on SEO and if you have the chance to buy him a vodka tonic, DO IT!

Ben Roy: Old Man Roy of Many Markets (and disguises ;-)
		I first met Ben on the Internet Marketers Cruise about 4 years ago when he had a real job! lol But he knew what he wanted and had the brain power and drive to do it. Today Ben is a partner in so many businesses I can't even count. He seems to have his hands in everything and is the genius behind SociaAdr and our new Secret Hosting System that he built specifically for OUR SEO needs. Ben is also one of those guys that can do BOTH marketing and the tech stuff, so he is pretty much versed in everything you can bring up and if he talks over your head when you ask him a question just smile and say, "ok, and what was that for us real folks?" ;-) Ben is now a Fellow Maverick, (means he makes over a million a year) and the grey hair and mustache he has on it the pic is actually a costume for one of those events. He is really only 34 but looks 25 in real life. Buy him ANYTHING at the bar and you will have a friend for life. :-)

Ezra Firestone: The E-Commerce Bad Ass Rockstar
		Don't let this picture fool you; Ezra is one of the NICEST guys I have met in a loooong time. He is more concerned about others then he is about himself, and displays that in his ever giving nature. I tell ya, he is a gem and will give us the proverbial seo shirt off his back. (That's probalby what happened to it in the pic. ;-) Having sold millions of dollars in products online, Ezra is a firm believer in willpower, self-teaching and learning from people who are already doing whatever it is you want to do. His experience and expertise in search engine optimization and online media buying coupled with his knowledge of landing page psychology and eCommerce user behavior are a rare combination that lend themselves particularly well to the selling physical products online. Ezra has consulted for hundreds of companies across the U.S and Canada including One Laptop Per Child, Agora Media, and Peak Potentials Inc. Ezra's e-commerce and online businesses have given him the freedom of resources needed to help his community through non-profit work. As the head of We Are Family Manhattan, an all-volunteer, no cost of administration non-profit organization, Ezra organizes the re-distribution of surplus goods and foods to those in need. Rob Burns: Crazy, Smart and Rock "Solid" Star
		Rob is the guy in the room that will make you laugh, and then laugh harder. He hides his intelligence behind his incredible sense of humor. In fact, at first glance you would just go, ok, regular guy. But since I have had the opportunity to get to know Rob, he continually amazes me with his intelligence. Rob is actually a competitor of mine in the Blog Network arena. But, the great thing about all of us is even though we are ALL competitors to each other, we share everything like we are working together. It makes all of our products better and we are happy when the other succeeds. Rob is another one that would give the shirt off his back to help no matter the benefit to him or not. Rob's has a collection of best practices on a wide variety of SEO traffic strategies that he mind maps and process maps. He always comes up with things that I had never even thought of so he really rounds the group out nicely. A lot of "a ha" moments hit me when he speaks up. And shots of good tequilla will get anything out of him! ;-)

Bobby McDonald: Links, Links and More Links
		Bobby is alot like me, (well except I am not a 25 year old hunk of male lol) since he is one of the owners of a linking service (LinkEmperior) he has the advantage of looking at results from a huge variety of customers and gets to hear first hand from his customers what is working and what is not. LinkEmperior, which is kind of like a link smorgasbord, offers customers a WIDE variety of linking configurations so we can rely on Bobby to give us the goods on what other kind of links are working and what his folks do to rank. Bobby is also just a great all-around guy and is very SEO savy behind that, (is it Brooklin, New Yorker) accent he lays on pretty heavily after a couple beers. But the best bet to get him to open-up is to buy him a Yeagar Bomb! ;-)

Brian Horn: The Guy Who "Kicked My Ass"
		Yep, that's right Brian is the guy who I will always remember as the guy whom out ranked me for the keyword "toner." Errrr. It is rather a long and humourous story I will probalby tell at the event. LOL But until then, I will tell you that Brian is normally known as the "SEO Guru to the Star" because of his role in helping many of the top celebrity entrepreneurs in the world with their SEO and internet marketing. But Brian also.. Wrote a  book on internet marketing that became an instant best seller and hit #1 on Amazon Executive Produced an album in Australia for the one of the hottest electronic/metal bands in the world Walked the red carpet at the Grammys in Hollywood Inc Magazine even named him “The Be On Page 1 of Google Guru” and an “emerging business leader to watch”. Won an award for his fund raising efforts for children with Down syndrome Went to a party at Russell Simmons home in the Hamptons Signed on as Producer for an upcoming action movie with award winning stunt choreographer, Mark Chavarria (Iron Man, Inception) And, Brian has unlocked the secret to making himself into a celebrity in the crowded IM space and (for the very first time) will share his formula that he ensures me is all about his SEO Best Practices!! lol

Kieth Baxter: The Original "Bad Ass" SEO!
		Since Keith IS the orginal bad ass seo, I had to take the liberty to find the funnest pic I could of him just to raze him a bit! :-) I think Keith has actually been doing SEO longer then me, and that is a loooong time in Internet years! lol He is known for his masterful Black Hat strategies that have had him pulling in the bug $$ over the last decade and generates so much Internet traffic for websites that it often causes online “traffic jams.” One thing I really like about Keith is that he ALWAYS thinks outside the box and figures out NEW ways to out beat old ways, and in an ever changing atmosphere of SEO, that is critical. So with Keith, you get the history and insight of a season pro. And if you see him at the bar, and you will, I believe he is a beer man, but make it a micro brew. :-)

Laura Betterly: Local, Mobile, Master Of Much!
		Laura? WOW, not this girl can talk up a storm about anything, but get her in her groove on SEO and especially Local or Mobile SEO, perk your ear and takes notes cause she goes fast and you won't want to miss a thing! She is currently being promoted by Perry Belcher and Ryan Deiss and is their super ninja (yes bad ass too) in house SEO expert. I first met Laura through our mastermind group and became an instant fan. I mean, this chick can give ANYONE in the industry a run for their money! And, she too also has a pretty impressive client list and REAL rockstars that pick up the phone when she calls because they know when SHE calls, THEY make money! Ask her to see her famous pics and buy her a glass of red wine. :-)

Last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST..

Michael Taggart: Black Hat Mystery Man Mr. X
		Michael (under all that unruly hair and attitude ;-) just might be one of the smartest guys I know. Have you ever heard of the WordPress pluging "All-In-One SEO" that almost everyone on the planet uses? Well he created it! The thing is, I know a lot of guys that make smart shit! What is different about Michael is that I can actually understand what comes out of his mouth. So that makes him a smart guy that can speak "real people talk" lol. A.K.A. as "Mr. X" on most of his products and ventures as he likes to stay under the radar, but I convinced to come as himself. ;-) He could talk on ANYTHING and but he is currently rocking it with local SEO so I asked him to share his best practices for ranking in all local avenues. But really, he is another one (well they all are) that if you get the opportunity to by a beer, DO IT and he will light up like a kid getting a bag of M&Ms and give you back anything you want to know about Local SEO, Black Hat SEO, and ranking ANYTHING, ANYWHERE!

And then there is "me." :-)

Dori Friend: So Who Am I?
		I have been online since 1993 and marketing with my own websites since 2000. That is forever in Internet Marketing years, I know all the gurus and have been their SEO go to girl for eons. I also spoke at Yanik Silver's prestigious Underground Marketers Seminar in 2007 and I was saying even back then.. you MUST be in control of your OWN NETWORK! The only good link is a link you control!

I won best speaker at Jeff Johnson's Traffic Blue Print Workshop talking about this stuff and I used to charge  $1,000 an hour for consulting when I did it. (I don't anymore, so please don't ask)

Before that, I was a software designer for Apple Computer. So yes, I am a Geek!

The riverboat had been a luxury liner that commuted between Sacramento and San Francisco but The completion of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridge in 1937 and 1938 spelled the doom of the California riverboat. By 1940 the Delta King was out of business.

Fully restored in the 1990s, this boat continues to be a sought after location for business meetings, weddings and overnighters whom are looking for a special treat and history.

Google had to go a looooong way to shut the public networks down, but what they didn't expect that by de-indexing our sites would only make us better in at hiding them. By sending hundreds of thousands of emails to webmasters about un-natural links that it will only now be static in our ears, as we now know the truth.

Google's very own Matt Cutts admitted it wasn't the blog networks that got you those emails!

Um, "not about bad link networks?"

So even though the blog networks took the brunt of the blame this time around, all those notices were not the result of the blog networks? Wow!!

Blog networks still work just like they did before. Google would not have gone to all that trouble to find and deindex them if they were not still effective. My suggestion is to use smaller private networks but if you want to use the larger public ones then pointing them to your tier one sites is probably a good idea
